- Google Reader: This reader allows you to stay up-to-date on news that is relevant to your industry, brand or product in one convenient location, such as your RSS feed. Simply go to google.com/reader to set yours up.
- Google Alerts: This is a monitoring service that sends emails to you (as frequent or infrequent as you would like) containing new content from various online platforms surrounding your industry, brand, business, product, or even competitors and their products. - Twitter Search: Similar to Google Alerts, this service allows you to monitor tweets pertaining to particular subjects such as keywords, people, places, attitude (i.e. positive, negative, or inquisitive) or even dates. Simply go to search.twitter.com/advanced to set yours up.
Reserve Your Locations on Major Review Sites Reserve locations on major review sites to make sure your business is present when consumers are searching for services or products that your business provides.
- Yelp: Reserve your listing on Yelp and provide your listing with correct information such as your address, store hours and phone number(s). On Yelp you can see what your customers have said about your business as well. Simply go to yelp.com to learn more and reserve your location.
- Google Places: Similar to Yelp, reserve your listing on Google Places and provide your listing with correct information such as your address, store hours and phone number(s). This will ensure that your listing shows up in Google's local listings every time a consumer, searches for your product, service or company in your area on Google. Simply go to google.com/places to reserve your location.
